J e w e l r y  i n f o: M e t a l s: Sterling silver and gold filled are the metals I primary use. Sterling silver is composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Gold filled is a layer of 12kt gold bonded by heat and pressure to a layer of composition metal (brass). The 12kt gold content is 5% by weight in gold filled. Gold filled has no relation to plating and will withstand years of wear and tear. I will gladly do 14 kt gold pieces upon request. Note that prices listed are for sterling silver. She received a BFA in metalsmithing and jewelry design from James Madison University. Angie now resides in Park City, Utah and works out of her home studio.
